This is the news that Wrecking Balls fans have been waiting for. To see the Standings and check how much farther the Wrecking Balls have fallen behind. But what fans saw today was even better. The Wrecking Balls, who had fallen behind the Titans by 4 points for 2nd place in the CHSN Standings, had racked up 9 points in Week 2 in Champions League, which had occurred in the Chartwell Gym. The Titans had 44 points when Week 1 was still on, while the Thunder Eagles had 47. Now, the Thunder Eagles currently sit atop the Standings with 59 points, while the Wrecking Balls have 49 points. The Titans, on the other hand, managed only 3 points in the second week, which was played indoors. In Day 1 of Indoor Soccer, the Titans had a record of 1-2-1, giving them 3 points. The Wrecking Balls had the same record. The Thunder Eagles had done well and earned a record of 1-0-3 and 4 points. But the next day, the Titans collapsed. The Titans became the first CHSN franchise ever to lose all 4 of their games. No one needed to remind them that they got no points that day. Now, with Champions League in the books, everyone will be wondering; what is the next sport? Tara, Jenny, Jason and Jeffrey celebrate as Jeffrey converts a one-timer pass by Jenny 4 seconds into the game to give the Wrecking Balls a 1-0 lead versus the Thunder Eagles

"And the Wrecking Balls shoot, and they score!" All the teams did excellent in our hockey game. Lots of teams had lots of different perspectives towards the game. Also, in this period for competition time, the fitness trainer's routines of all teams were challenging, yet not too difficult. Some of the routines I saw for warm-ups were jumping jacks, arm stretches, leg stretches, and running on the spot. I asked fitness trainer Tara from the team Wrecking Balls: ‘What is the best warm-up to do before a game?’ Her reply was, ‘I really believe that running and jumping jacks does you very well before games, it gives you a stretch in the legs and arms! I also did a exclusive interview with one player on all the teams. The first team I interviewed was the Titans. I asked them: 'what makes his team a better team?' His reply was teamwork, and effort. The next team I interviewed was the Wrecking Balls. I asked them, 'what strategies do you use when in doubt? They replied, we just keep playing and remember to have fun. The last team I interviewed was the Thunder Eagles. I asked them 'what is your favourite thing about CHSN? They replied, having to compete with other teams is very fun for us. I'll see you next time on 'The Inside Scoop' This is Illya blocking a shot from Sepher Introducing Hockey as the new CHSN Sport! Exciting news! Our sport for CHSN have changed to hockey. Team Werking Balls had a great time playing hockey on Monday. Although we have not won ever game, we had a fun time playing. The hockey game was much better to learn and to play than rugby, so the games were well played. When we ask fellow members of each team, most of them enjoys playing hockey as the new sports centre sport. After we have started hockey, it looks like the Thunder Eagles are leading first place. They have said that they have plan out there plan before the game starts. Well, that was it for this week, Go Wreckingballs! Breaking News: The point value of a win in the CHSN Standings has been dropped from 3 points per win to 2 points per win! That’s right, and you are currently reading an “Inside Man” Special Report. Well, on Friday, after everyone had left for their weekend break off of CHSN, the Win-Loss-Draw point value was immediately changed. No one knows exactly why, but everyone on the Wrecking Balls will be happily delighted once news gets out about this. With the point change also comes a score change. All the scores for every team has been re-calculated to the appropriate amount. Now, the Titans, who are the favourites to win this year’s CHSN Championship are suddenly atop the CHSN Standings with 30 points. The Thunder Eagles, though, are very close behind with 29 points. With the point change, the Wrecking Balls are now within striking distance with 24 points. It’s going to be a VERY tight race all the way to the finish line.
In today's CHSN newsletter, I am going to be interviewing a player on the team Wrecking Balls, Jeffrey Zhou. His favourite sport is hockey, and he believes that he could help his team when we get to the hockey season. The reason for his love of hockey is because of the 2010 Winter Olympics. Ever since then, he has been encouraged to love and play hockey. Jeffrey is 12 and is in Grade 7. Jeffrey's birthday is on September 11th, 2001, which is the same day as 9/11. He moved to Vancouver in 2004. He is hoping that his team, the Wrecking Balls, will do well in CHSN. The motto that he lives off of is "Winning isn't everything, honour is."
“And the Titans and Wrecking Balls have a tie!” The game we played for today’s round of CHSN was ultimate frisbee. CHSN is a new unit we are starting in P.E that I really enjoy. The entire class is split into 3 teams, the Titans, the Thunder Eagles, and the Wrecking Balls. The competition time today was both intense and fun! Lots of athletes in today's competition had lots of shining moments, for example, when two players on the Wrecking Balls made such an amazing pass with the challenges of a very defensive team. An interview with a star player from the Titans (Emily Jee) was set up and was asked a hard and challenging question, which was: What is one strategy that really helped you during the game? Her answer was to find good teammates to go against and compete against people same level as her. I interviewed another player from Wrecking Balls named Jenny. I asked her 'What is your favourite part of CHSN?' Her answer was having fun and playing all those different sports with my teammates. Overall, this competition time for CHSN ran very smoothly and was fun! I’ll see you next time on ‘The Inside Scoop!’
